He treats everything as though it is a roaring car currently - no matter whether it’s an actual toy or an empty milk bottle. He likes to push things along the floor making roaring sounds. We don’t have many vehicles, so I’m getting some for his birthday as that seems to be how he wants to play. I fully expect him to ignore the toys and continue to play with stuff from the recycling box.
Current favourites of actual toys (he still loves boxes, bottles, spoons etc) toy workbench shapesorter, Fisher Price camera, and a wire maze wooden bead thingy. Anything with buttons he press or small bits he can twiddle keep him occupied longest. Otherwise chasing balls around is always a winner
I just bought my baby a soft play set. It's foam material, has a fee climbing elements and a ball pit, she's not too keen atm but loves the ball pit
Mine loves a tunnel too, so we have got a pop up tent to tunnel to ball pit for the garden for her birthday. Also first doll and pram, & seasaw to share with her brother. She currently loves her musical phone, noisy books & xylophone.
@Kerrie can you share a link for this pls sounds great xx
I just bought my baby a pop up tunnel from Amazon this week and it's a bit hit so far; we've been having lots of fun with it.
