Easter activies

To do or do not? Last year, we just celebrated simply. Now he's 20 months it it worth getting a basket of goodies or should I wait another year? If I do a basket what are fin things for that age range to play with safely? Its not big deal not too maybe even saves a bit of expenses but I'm going to wait to do something for when we are an active family of four. His sister may not be home till after Easter this year. (New born currently in nicu care) I guess I have an itchy pocket and want something for the holiday but I don't know what to do.

We’re not doing anything big this year- maybe I’ll put some of her snack puffs in plastic eggs and toss them on the lawn her to find.

We had baskets last year (little ones were 21 months and 9 months) with some toys (pop-its, teethers, and stuffed bunnies), an outfit for each of them, and a book. We also got prefilled eggs with animal finger puppets. My 21 month old LOVED the eggs and made us refill and hide them SO many times for her to find. We’re doing the same thing this year with age appropriate toys/outfits/books. Just small things. I also bought some empty eggs this year so we can put a few little treats in some of them along with the toys. We also spent a little extra for hand knit, structured baskets that we can use for years to come.

Definitely worth it ! You could put in toddler silverware , bath ducks , zollipops , gummies , animal crackers , a new sippy cup or a good 2 grow character juice .
