Nursery :(

Oh no! I don't know if it's representative or not but I've gone to visit two nurseries and neither times in the baby room were any of the babies crying. No more than a bit of a moan and were then attended tomThe ratio was 3 babies to 1 adult in both settings. Not trying to make you feel worse, maybe it's just be coincidence/a bad time you've arrived where mine was good 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi, my little boy has had settle in sessions at nursery and is EBF so I was convinced he would scream and cry from the moment I left him as he was going through some separation anxiety too. But he really surprised me! He generally has a really good time, usually towards the end of the session he’s ready to come home but everytime he’s gone they’ve seen such an improvement each time. You’ll honestly be surprised how well they do 🥰 it’s great if they have an app too as you get little photos and updates and when you go to collect them and they are so happy to see you..it’s amazing! Even though my boys last session he was having so much fun playing he actually didn’t want to leave! 😂 Always feel free to message me if you ever wanna chat xx

My baby has had 2 settling sessions now too, she did cry a little on the last one, but this was because her room leader walked 2 feet away from her for like a min 😅. She's quite clingy at the min!

My little girl got a bit upset on her first few settling in sessions and her first few full days! She goes 2 days a week but honestly she now loves it! She’s been going since the start of January and she seems so happy and content there and has learnt so much! I do think it takes them a bit of getting used to as they’re used to just being with us 24/7 xxx

I suppose I should expect a few tears.. @Maria it's literally been both times I've gone, there's maybe 8 babies in the room and I'd say half of them were hysterical crying. Clearly they needed a feed or something at the same time but the staff were trying their best. Went to pick up my daughter today and she was already crying.. the staff were busy settling other children. It's pulling at my heart strings bc she's never like that at home, but then again I'm always there x

It's so hard, I'm absolutely dreading going back to work 😭😭😭 but there are so many positives of nursery and like the other ladies have said I'm sure she'll settle on soon!
