First time away
My husband booked a weekend down the shore for me for my birthday. Just me. I can bring who I want he said
Problem is that I only have my best friend who works weekends and 2 other friends I’d invite but they also work weekends occasionally but have families of their own too
So I just go by myself and make the best of it?

You could see invite your friends too see if they'd make the availability at the least and if they are busy if you don't want to be alone talk to your husband (and kids?) about joining if you really don't want to be by yourself. I know I'd be lonely if I was alone for a vacation weekend.
@Priscilla no money involved. He requested the keys to my sister’s house. He doesn’t want to go. He wants me to have time alone without him and our child
@Kel I did invite. I haven’t heard back from one of them. The others have work
If it where me that would be sad for me to be lonely on my birthday especially the first time away.. But everyone is different some people love time alone, but me ide only go if I could find a good friend, otherwise I would see about taking my husband and kids, or getting a refund.
