Hating car ride

My son is 7 months old and hates car drive unless I sit in the back. He cried all the way to Asda the other day no where for me to stop and comfort him. Please help, even when my husband sits at the back he hates it. I usually only take him out to run errands when he is milk drunk. I am starting work soon and would need to take him to nursery and I am so stressed out.

He is just used to you being with him. He will grow out of it eventually. That is how my son used to be but now does so much better. I feel like at 12 months he started to like seating on his car seat.

Do you have a mirror he can look at whilst you’re driving? Some teething toys and something that smells like you near him worked for me 😭😭

@Liyan that’s how my son was too… I feel like the first two weeks he was fine but after that he hated the car seat! Now, I usually give him snacks & my phone after he gets fussy to watch Bluey or his favorite movie.
