@India (Dee) I know access requests is how to request medical records as I worked there but not sure about birth records…
You request them the same way as normal medical records
I requested my birth notes last year. You can find details on how to do it here: https://hduhb.nhs.wales/about-us/governance-arrangements/your-information-your-rights/how-to-make-a-request-for-my-personal-information/ If you title your email 'Subject access request' they legally have to respond within one month to your request, although they dragged their feet with mine and I had to chase them a few times. If you don't hear back within that time frame you can make a complaint to the Information Commissioners Office. It was only with the threat of making that complaint that the health board finally sent me my notes! Hope this helps x
Hahahahah I wish I knew!!! I made a whole massive folder with all my birth class notes, personal research, to do lists and then my actual hospital maternity notes… when I gave birth they took them and I never saw them again 😅
