Picky eater PLZ HELP!!!!

HELP!! My daughter turns 2 in May and is the most picky eater I’ve ever known. She’s been this way since a little before she was 1. I’ve tried sneaking foods into the foods she likes but she knows every time and spits it out. She uses to lick it, touch it, smell it, but won’t even do that anymore. I keep getting told it’s just a phase but I’m starting to think it’s not. And if it is how long will it last? I can count on my two hands the meals she will actually eat. Thankfully she loves her fruits, veggies, and berries. But I can just tell she is getting tired of the same foods all the time. I know I am!! I know she’s getting mostly the nutrients she needs with what she eats and I’m always more than willing to make her special meals. I’ve tried having her involved with making the other meals. And describing what it tastes and feels like. I’ve made it fun to eat by “playing with our food”. And I’m not one to force her to eat anything but I want her to at least try it.😕😕

Try getting a little table or having a spot where she can come to try out or graze on food outside of mealtimes. Let her see you eat the foods she is hesitant to try. Accept that there are some foods that are just going to be a "no" for her. Be really mindful about snacks and drinks. Their stomachs are only so big and even filling up on water or milk can leave them too full to be interested in meals at mealtimes.

They go through quite a few phases of not liking certain foods. My little boy is nearly 3 and has decided he no longer likes foods that he liked last week 🤨

With my little one I gave her a plate with a little of everything on it from dinner, if she chose to eat it or not that was on her but I always left the option available every single time. I never left something off the plate that she “didn’t like”. It really helped over time as she eventually tried things or retried things. As she got older too she would be curious if we had something on our plate she didn’t at a restaurant or such and I always asked if she would like some to try and I would hype it up and she usually does!
