Mum guilt - nursery

Today was my LBs first day at nursery. Tell me why I have major mum guilt when I picked him up!? And I still do! I feel awful and counting the days until he’s back home with me all day again 😞

Mine is going in for 2 hour sessions from tomorrow till Friday and starting fully next well I’ve been literally sad all day

Oh mine went in today got so upset he puked all his milk.was sobbing so hard they thought ut was a stridor and started crying and being so mucous he had a rattly chest got sent home.just after lunch with suspect croup. Dr laughed and said hes got a case of.stress separation anxiety and was essentially getting so wound up it was mimicking symptoms My first never was that bad at drop off i felt so guilty! Hes got to go back tomorrow though so hopefully he settles and lasts more than half a day

@Louise ah now I’m gonna cry myself to bed 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️😂😂😂😂😂

@Justina sorry! Honestly my first was fine I dropped him off he barely cared apparently had a small grizzle but always just cracked on and played. My 2nd.... somehow is a lot more attached than my first was at this stage although hes much more cuddly In General Dont feel guilty its what we have to do It could be great but I want to prepare you it may not be. And if its not dont worry a few.weeks and they will be absolutely fine.

Our 1st day tomorrow and tbh I’m actually really looking forward to 5 hours alone. I have loads of things I should do but I’m just going to watch tv and chill for 5 hours 😆🤣

Mine has been going for a month now and she’s loving it! After her second settle session she suddenly got much more mobile, standing up all the time and crawling all over. She’s been learning lots from the other babies. I wish I could spend more time with her during the day but honestly I think a good nursery can be lots of fun and great stimulation for them. We were also told her sleep might get worse for a bit but I think she’s sleeping better as she’s exhausted from moving so much 🤣. It’s harder to deal with the guilt when they catch a nursery bug, although that also means you have to keep them home and get to spend more time with them!

@Louise he did so well. He just went to the nursery nurse and ignored me 😂😂😂
