Questions to ask when viewing schools
What kind of questions would you recommend asking on school open days when deciding which one to send your child to?

@Georgia just out of interest, what would a good answer to that be? I wouldn’t have a clue what they were telling me!
@Emma That they have a set phonics scheme, how they send books home (we give physical books out to make sure everyone has access to the right one), that they’re read with during the week, that they do phonics daily. Also, ask if they do any meetings with parents to show them how to say the phonics sounds. We do it at my school and parents find it really helpful x
