Can you claim universal credit on maternity leave?
My partner works full time and I have a job but on maternity leave and getting smp but it’s just not enough. Am I able to claim universal credit temporarily whilst I’m on maternity leave?

Yeah, it just depends on the total earnings for your household. It’s worth doing a benefits calculator like Entitledto or speak to citizens advice bureau and they can check what you’re entitled to 🙂
