Beef Safe To Eat

Does this beef look ok? The pack smelt fine and I only found a handful of pieces like this in the middle of the pack. Bought yesterday and dated the 4th April. I’m only worried as my baby girl is going to have some of the stew I’m making but I get so paranoid with meat. I swear this happens every time I make a stew but I don’t but diced beef that often for this exact reason 😂

I personally wouldn’t but others might x

Slight browning is normal oxidisation of the meat. It’s perfectly okay to eat as long as it’s in date and smells okay.

Second what Rebecca has said as long as in date and smells ok it is normal happens to us a lot and never had issues

I think it's probably fine if it's within date and smells ok, I wouldn't take it back out of your bin though 😅 xx

Safe to eat I think. Unless it smells sour.

I don’t get what’s wrong with it?

Thank you everyone!

@Emily haha don’t worry I was peeling all the veg on a piece of kitchen towel on the kitchen side and decided to pick out all the brown bits to throw away 😂 I know it doesn’t make a difference if it’s gone bad but I didn’t want to cook the brown ones 😂 didn’t put these bits in 😂

It’s just oxidizing from being exposed to air. You’re good.
