Where to buy women’s clothes UK?

I haven’t bought clothes in 2 years. I am 16months pp. I just feel comfortable in my old stuff. But first, I need something to wear to an upcoming baby shower for my bf. Where do I go? Shein? Do their clothes last/good quality? If not Shein, where? I don’t even know what will look good on my now 😩

Shein has not only terrible quality clothes but terrible labour practices and they use toxic materials in their products. I’d steer well clear. If you are on a budget Vinted have some amazing bargains both new and second hand and you can get some amazing clothes and brands at a fraction of the price they would be in the shops! 🫶🏻

New look or Primark or the supermarkets

Any supermarket, Matalan, Primark, Next, New Look,

Tú at Sainsbury’s often has really nice bits

Zara? And other stories, Toast

Vinted!

I buy on Shein. I once bought a dress and shoes for a wedding in store at my mall, dress was $80 and $40 for alterations, and $40 for the heels. Scrolling shein a couple weeks after the wedding I saw the exact same dress on Shein for $20 and the shoes for $20 🤯 Dress shops these days buy in bulk from Aliexpress Temu Shein and the like, and times the price by 4 to customers. Never again 😂 I now go straight to Shein. Why should I give the shop an extra $60 of my money when I can buy the exact same dress on shein. Their quality is good depending on the dress but I’ve bought enough now to know which are good quality. And go through the reviews

ASOS , Mataland ,tu Sainsbury’s & next .

I really like Popsy and Lady V. Always buy them pre loved on eBay or Vinted.
