Men attacking women for making more money than them.

I was talking with a group of people about taxes and their position was that you can’t survive unless you cheat on taxes and hide tens of thousands of dollars. My position is that you pay it all and I don’t want to be a cheater and a thief(we’re talking about taxes in another country where I’ve lived for 26years and the taxes are just 10% compared to 24+7% here in US.) At which a man who doesn’t know anything about me said “good for you that you have a man to feed you”….I responded with “I own two businesses one of which is an engineering firm. I feel bad that your self esteem is so low that you feel the need to attack women you don’t know to make you feel better. I run both businesses while taking care of my kid, while pregnant, I cook my family homemade meals every single day, I take care of the whole house, there’s not a toy on the ground, I garden to lower the bills and I plan on opening a third company once my new workers can take a little more responsibilities and don’t need me to check their work. I’m more than equal to my husband when it comes to finances and I probably work more than you. As we all know you won’t be man enough to say sorry for your wrong accusations. (He didn’t say sorry) 1. Was I right to say this after this accusation? 2. What the hell is wrong with men nowadays to attack women the second they realize they have more money than them? It must be given to them for sex/companionship right…can’t be from their hard work.

Ha! I bet that done made him so mad!!😂🤣😂 no you’re not wrong! That was awesome and I bet no one has checked that man in a fat minute! Feel good about that win girl!💪💪

It’s the fragile men with a huge ego and toxic masculinity that know they have no worth except for “how much money they make” so they feel threatened by women who “don’t need them” and throw out insults like this. Real men don’t care!! I make double what my husband does and he likes to call me his hot sugar mama 🤣 you did the right thing and I love that you put him in his place!!! Also, idk how “cheating on taxes” would even help someone enough to make a difference for most people here in the US 😅 so that take is pretty funny to me (I work in finance and have experience in doing taxes for both individuals and businesses lol)

@Amanda He means accepting payments under the table in order this income not to be taxed. It’s funny he would attack me like this when he feels the need to break the law to survive. I make 150k from engineering (I’m not killing myself from work) and a few months ago I scaled the business up, hired people to do the job for me while I just check the final work before delivery so that job is pretty easy now, and recently started the second business making 5-6k a month from it too but it’s projected to earn 300k/year in 3-4 years at which point I can decide if I want to keep any of the businesses or sell them and buy properties. For comparison my husband makes 95k after taxes but brings us a retirement at 50 and a superior health insurance. Even when I moved to US there was a period of 6 months where I wasn’t allowed to work till I recieve my Employment authorization card and even then I sold my apartment for 100,000euro with 40% profit and invested it in our future.

You were so right

Girllll that is BADASS!! I love that for you!! Girl bossing it up and doing it so well 💜 Ahhhh okay yeah I see what you were saying now….yeah he’s just a man who feels small and is desperate to feel “big and strong” I guess 😬 and was offended that a smart and successful woman didn’t agree with his terrible advice 🙈

He’s probably thinking about this interaction right now and thought about it when he laid his head on the pillow for the night lol
