My baby was exactly the same and it ended up being a cows milk allergy. It only stopped once we were put on prescription milk x
@Scarlet 🤍 do you mind me asking did your little one have any other symptoms. My lo suffers with constipation and I’m wondering with both is it an allergy
We use the Eucerin cream regularly and helped a lot, but my baby's eczema never was that bad.
I was going to say it looks more like an allergy than eczema. Only saying that as eczema is in my family and doesn’t look like this. My oldest boy had a allergic reaction and it came out like this x
@Lowri of course! It started off with quite runny poo but only ever once a day, so he never had extreme diarrhoea. He suffered from trapped wind pretty much since he was born, a little bit of reflux but there was no huge symptoms until the eczema came out!
@Lowri sorry, sent that before I finished! Once the eczema came out, everything got bad quite quickly - very mucus nappies, starting to get really uncomfortable with wind after feeding, what I thought was ‘witching hour’ but actually was him in huge amounts of pain every evening, then eventually blood in his poo
@Scarlet 🤍 oh bless him. Hope he’s more comfy since change in milk x
I think you need to see the GP if it's not getting better :( poor baby. We were perscribed Cetraban but our case is mild in comparison
We saw GP today again, that was our 3rd time in regards to this. I literally stood there crying and telling her that this is a 3rd time we are here and yet they keep telling me as long as he eats and puts on weight nothing to worry. They have finally prescribed 2 creams, so will give it a go with one of them 🙏
Also i got randomly told this by a health visitor.. for reducing the itch for a baby and any skin conditions a little spoon of vegetable oil. Yes.... vegetable oil. Honestly worked like a charm. I had a hard time believing her before but .... yea it actually works 🤔 (applied onto the skin.)
Sorry no advice but this picture could be my little one. Following for ideas
