Baby girl names?!

How do you choose a baby name?! We had our first picked before I even knew who they were (family names!) and we had a boys name but this one is another girl so we can’t think of a name!! 🙈 We also have a lot of friends who have girls (very few boys born!) so I feel like that makes our choice harder as I don’t want to use their names. Our first has a very classic old name and I’d like to have something compliment it so if anyone has suggestions please comment (as many names as you want!) Thank you ☺️

My friends daughter is Edith, Edie for a nickname. It’s very cute

@Jess This is my most favourite name in the whole wide world. I’m so sad my partner has said no to it for both our girls! X

@Jess I do love this and have it on the list! I think it’s actually a perfect name to go with our family but I don’t think my husband is on board with this one. We’ve discussed so many names 🙃

Originally I loved Maeve but then a friend's wife called her daughter Ellie-Maeve at the start of the year (despite knowing it was my favourite for a girl 🙄). Now my favourites are Florence after my Great Grandma and Erika after the Pokemon trainer (we are massive nerds haha) ☺️ not sure on middle names yet, will figure that out if it is a girl!

@Abi Florence is a lovely name too! Erika is too! Are you finding out what you’re going to have?

Thank you! I've found girls names so much easier than boys! Yes we're definitely going to find out, I don't think I could wait until September haha!

@Abi we’ve had an early gender scan so I’ll be able to confirm it this week when we have our 20 week scan 😂 but I’m pretty sure it’s a girl from the private one 🙊

Aww so exciting!

Elsie, Rose, Rosie, Poppy, Daisy, Alice, Clara, Tabitha, Ophelia, Aurelia, Olive, Ivy, Charlotte, Matilda, Scarlett, Heidi, Fearne
