Advice

Is your garden an in ground or above ground? How's your soil? What kind of vegetables? Sorry lots of questions but I love gardening. It's my happy place. Lol for the potted plant maybe needs a bit of fertilizer or sometimes plants need time to adjust to their new environment. Your lighting, temperature, humidity, etc are probably different than the store you got it from.

@Ashley we want to do an inground one our soil is very fertile we live right next to a corn field that's been farmed for a very long time now so the fertilizer has seeped into the soil I wanted to do some tomatoes and lettuce cucumbers things of that sort however I could be persuaded just looking for beginner plants to get me started I don't really know anything about fertilizer or anything like that the small garden I did have last year I kind of just bought some seedlings from Walmart stuck them in the ground really didn't do anything but weed the garden and most of them came out beautifully so I'm really optimistic about the soil.

That is a great opportunity to ask questions and get answers in real time. As for my 3 biggest pieces of advice, #1 is starting small. Don't overwhelm yourself. # 2, do not plant something just because it grows well in your area. If it isn't something that you will eat/enjoy, do not waste your time nor space with it. #3, don't give up. Take notes of everything you do (when you plant, when it sprouts, when it produces, ect.) When something doesn't work the way you want it to, you can look back at your notes and make adjustments. Remember, FAIL stands for "First Attempt in Learning
