Pre eclampsia

Has anyone been diagnosed with this? I am 33 weeks and they are now concerned I may have pre eclampsia. I am back in hospital and I have not been able to ask the midwife questions about it yet as they are waiting for test results. I have read things online but what I’m wondering is if they’ll keep me in or if anyone has been kept in previously because of it? Or let me home if they diagnose it? Thank you in advance 🩷

They were worried I had preeclampsia, youll get blood pressure tablets and theyll monitor you. Youd only have to stay in if your pressure wasn’t going down really, and they may suggest inducing baby 37-38 weeks ish xx

What symptoms have you had? I've had high blood pressure in my last 2 midwife appointments, my midwife is semi retired and very laid back, she said there is no problem with urine checks no protein, baby is growing well, as long as I feel well she said she was happy to let me go (I said I will monitor my blood pressure at home I have a machine) but my last appointment she said for my next midwife check she would like me to go to hospital just in case, 37 weeks pregnant atm.

I was told I have very high protein in my urine and asked if I have symptoms of a UTI but I haven’t noticed any problems when passing urine. My blood pressure is on the high side (I don’t have blood pressure problems usually but it has fluctuated during pregnancy). I don’t have any other symptoms. But they took my blood and let me go home and said that depending on what the blood test shows I may need more monitoring. Hopefully the bloods will be clear. I would really like to avoid an induction, I had to have an emergency c section with my first baby due to a failed induction with some complications.

Oh sorry to hear that, hopefully your bloods will come back ok! Did you have preeclampsia with your first pregnancy?? My midwife asked me if I had it with my first when I said no she was like ok don't worry..
