My daughter’s birthday is the 26th of May so always falls close to the bank holiday. We’ve done at home parties every year so far, managing to get out in the garden. I’m hoping to do a bbq party this year if the weather permits. Her birthday this year is actually on the bank holiday Monday but I’m doing a party for her on the Sunday so people travelling/working can have a day off the next day. Mainly adults as it’s usually family only.
we’re going to go to the farm 🚜 🤍
We are going to the Thomas Land. My LO is obsessed with Thomas and trains. Tickets not the cheapest but it's gonna be just us three .
I love that his birthday is in May so it's generally sunny, we are having a BBQ with close family. Last year we did an afternoon tea which was easy to stay cheap and we didn't offer any alcohol. If you wanted something more spread out, I've heard people do a drop in so people could come from 2pm any time in the afternoon.
We will be low key this year as I am expecting my 2nd just a couple of weeks before my 1st born's 3rd birthday. She has an unusually good attention span for films so my husband will take her to the cinema to see the new Lilo and Stitch and I've asked as many of our friends and family who are able to go along too (paying for themselves!)...I will most likely miss out on the cinema with a newborn! Then it'll probably be everyone back to our house for cake and presents. Her favourite animal is a pig and she's requested a pig cake and pig balloon so will arrange that for her too 🤣🐷🩷
