Summer birthday while co-parenting: when to throw
My child goes to her bio dad during the summer and is not in the local area during her late July birthday. I'm trying to figure out if we should throw her one in May before school gets out or in Aug when she comes back. I'm wondering if people would make the time to go to a birthday party of a child that their child isn't in the same class anymore?
She spends every birthday with her dad? That's awful. It's just so far ahead that May doesn't make much sense. I would take my child to a former classmates party. Get acquainted with the parents. Do they have some form of parent group chat?
