How old is your little one? If theyāre 5 months + I would highly recommend anbesol LIQUID, you buy it over the counter and has a anaesthetic in it- you just simply rub it on their gums. I donāt find Ashton and parsons works but that is just herbal, anbesol has lidocaine in it x
@Eloise second this. Swore by it with my toddler and bought a fresh bottle ready to use when she turns 5 months. I found it was the only thing that works x
We use Anbesol liquid first and if that doesnāt seem to work after a little while weāll give calpol. But really only been giving calpol for teething the last week or so. I didnāt want to over do it the same as you. But then I just think how much pain weāre in when we have toothache so I felt sorry for my boy. Heās been teething since about 3.5/4 months xx
I give mine calpol if sheās clearly struggling with her teeth, we would want some pain relief for tooth pain so I would definitely give some especially if theyāre waking up in pain. Just give as and when you think theyāre struggling is what I would say to take the edge off thatās what I personally do
My little one is coming up to 5 months old and he's been teething since 3 months. His first tooth came through last week and we're only giving him calpol when he's really fussy. Atm it's only been once a day. Could you give her calpol before bed and see if that helps and then during the night if it's been 4-6 hours later before her next feed?
