No milk?

I have been EBF-ing my daughter for 9 weeks now. Had no problem with latching or supply, lots of wet nappies and gaining weight perfectly. But today, it’s like my milk has disappeared! I have recently started pumping during the night to build a little stash, but last night I couldn’t get 1oz out (normally manage 5-6) and today, baby girl has been on the boob non-stop but definitely not full. Even when I hand express to check supply, I’m getting dribbles. Anyone else experience this and got any advice please??? (Ps tried giving her a bottle of pumped milk but she absolutely refused - we have never used bottles before or any kind of formula)

I had this and it was because I wasn’t eating at all. Your intake definitely does affect your supply! So maybe this could be a possible cause?

I have been struggling with this for the last couple weeks, was breastfeeding & pumping into bottles, until last week where I’ve slowly had to add some bottles of formula to make up for it. I have been recommended a Hakka (Not sure how you spell it) today, so going to try this. Also asked if im eating & drinking enough? Tease the teat into baby’s mouth, just like you would a boob. I use the slow feed teats as well. (MAM) I’ve seen you can get bottles that have a teat that mimics a boob, think maybe on the pricier side of bottles but have heard good things. (Haven’t tried myself as she got on with “norm” bottles) I also squeezed the milk from the teat of the bottle into the mouth so she gets the understanding that milks coming from there. Dummy, I know some people aren’t a fan, but think it can mimic a bottle more so? So maybe see if this helps if not. Breast feeding is such a love hate thing, LOVE it when it’s going well but it only seems that when my boobs are full …

She loves it, when they aren’t so full she gets so stressy. Think it’s swings and roundabouts but you’re smashing it , try not stress (which I know is hard) but health visitor said that could be a factor as well xx

Your supply can drop a lot if you’re not getting enough calories or hydrated enough. Oats are great for boosting milk supply (or granola worked well for me) I had a massive bowl every morning and they’d fill a couple hours later

Drink a lot of water, 3 litres eat a lot of oat meal or cheerios

Eat a lot of vegetables and fruits
