crossing boundaries?

checked my BD phone as his mum messaged during the process came across my name along side complaint messages about me and a message regarding one incident where me and my friend took the kids to a certain park he apparently asked to to go to a few weeks before and i apparently said ‘No’ despite loving coming here? anyway he told his mum that and the response was ‘that’s disgusting’ he thinks i’m over reacting and this is okay? i literally don’t want to be in a room with his mother anymore she is so irratating am I right that this is werid and she’s over reacting? I feel so uncomfortable about this i’m ready to leave and we have two kids together there’s been issues in the past with his mum being to involved and rude to me while pregnant etc i’m not her biggest fan but i’m never rude or deny access to my kids etc so is it acceptable for him to do that and her to comment things like that when i’d say ‘disgusting’ is a pretty strong word anyway slay hahha x

Eek. It’s a huge issue that he’s talking about you and any issues you guys have to someone else other than you. And her response is just wow. Just plain disrespectful on both their ends

If someone is rude to you/ doesn’t respect you they absolutely do not deserve to have any sort of relationship with your children it doesn’t matter if they are blood relatives or whatever. Your mil sounds awful, i’m sorry. If she isn’t rude to you directly in front of your children that kind of energy from her will definitely eventually work its way out towards the surface, and your babies will eventually see it. You are not overreacting at all 💗 Only allow your babies around people who respect you mama and are good to you. Her thinking that kind of speech directed towards you/ describing you is ok is truly what is disgusting.
