I have a blyss aircon unit that really works. It is pricey though. I have really bad pollen allergies, so in the summer it’s nearly impossible for us to get any fresh air in. You do have to have a window open with this, but you can easily block it out so it’s only the tube that goes through.
Iv been thinking about this too! The house gets too hot for me so worried about baby.
We got a vortex air pro fan for our first its sinilar to dyson fan. Our rooms upstairs gey really hot and humid in summer. It works pretty well over night. We also have a tower velocity fan that we'd put on to direct air out the room x
We got an air con unit that we vent out of the window through the night and this cools the room to 18-20 degrees. We had an August baby first time round and obviously due in July this time so will definitely be using it again. We got it from Argos. They are pricey but imo definitely worth it x

It was Argos own brand ‘challenge’ i think x
I spent money on a unit which has been great for my 2yo daughter. We had it since birth and it brings the room down to 20 on average on a really hot day (that’s when it’s on the lowest setting which says 16 degrees). 100% worth it for piece of mind in my opinion.
