Breastfeeding Safe Energy Drink/Snack

Hey ladies, any suggestions on the above? I don't want to drink coffee as I gave it up during pregnancy and only just started drinking it again occasionally. I get a great boost from it because it's like having it for the first time again, but I'd much rather like to have something that has a different taste and is hydrating. Any thoughts??

I have a soda stream and I’ll add different water enhancers to it with electrolytes or caffeine/B12 if I want a little energy pick me up. I love my soda stream. I also like to hydrate with coconut water diluted with normal water and a splash of some sort of lemonade. For snacks I try to stick to something with protein like Chomps or Greek yogurt but honestly sometimes I give into salty cravings and just have some Dots preztles. I also like to have energy bites on hand - I make different variations typically using an almond butter and oatmeal base (I get different recipes off google, Instagram, Pinterest and tweak where I see fit).

I do coconut water but I don’t think it’s an energy drink?

I saw mushroom coffee being sold at Whole Foods, I haven’t tried it or looked too much into it.

I drink Arbonne Fizz Sticks. OB/Ped/LC approved of them, and they are delicious.

@Michelle I was just going to buy a soda stream! Any tips for using it?

@Julianne you’re going to love it! I never liked the soda stream brand of syrups - they seemed thick and did not taste like any of the sodas they were trying to dupe. I will buy water enhancers off Amazon or from Target and those taste so much better and not as artificial. Also you can exchange your used CO2 canisters at Kohl’s for a discounted full one. I’ll try to do it when I also have an Amazon return because sometimes I’ll get a $5 coupon with my return receipt which can be used towards the canister purchase ☺️

@Michelle oooh thank you, both of those things are great to know!
