Babyproofing

So now my baby is walking about, I need to start babyproofing my house. I have a fireplace with sharp edges in my living room that I need to somehow baby proof but I don’t wanna use a stick-on edging that permanently marks my fireplace. Does anyone have any good recommendations on how to keep my baby safe without destroying my fireplace and furniture? (Just moved house so not had the fireplace during the crawling stage)

You could try a fire guard we use one and so far so good, if you want you could get some edging on that for extra safety

We’re using these for certain furniture. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B6S75LC6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

@Charlotte these look good but have you tried taking them off yet? Do you know if they leave their stickiness behind on your furniture? That’s what I’m worried about 😂

@CShannon is it attached somehow or just placed in front?

@Lauren I’m sure it would come off with some soapy water. I’ll take it over claret everywhere 😂

@Lauren it's attached to the wall with a screw and clip thing so you can unclip at any time

I originally got these for the cat as he kept getting into the pet cupboard and eating all the food. Now I have them in my kitchen to stop my little girl emptying my kitchen cupboards. They have small corner stoppers on them you can stick on (I know you said you did want stick on). You can easily remove stick ons with a hair dryer which can also make them reusable if you wanted to restick them elsewhere. I've done this trick before on RGB lights and wall mounted stickers https://amzn.eu/d/jg69S10
