Could have written this myself. My son usually loves eggs, any fruit, any meat and now just throws everything off his plate and won’t eat anything. It’s so stressful and I worry about him waking up hungry! He has all four molars so I don’t think it’s teething 🫠
Its teething momma . I have 3 kids 15 months 26 months and 6. Its teething unfortunately. They will also change taste buds as well every 6-9 months . Try fruit , and if youre super worried you can blend up fruits/ veggies into a milkshake form (:
My 14 month did the same thing. The only thing that helped (which I saw from TikTok) was letting them feed themselves from a plate and always having a “safe” food - one that they like even if it’s not the greatest health wise and keep it low pressure. I wish she would eat more but it’s helped a lot!
My lil guy is doing this too. He liked pasta one day, the very next day he spits it out. He wants snacks and chocolate
We've been going through something similar. He'll hardly eat anything for breakfast or lunch and usually eats a good amount for dinner. He LOVES fruit, so if I can't get him to eat anything else throughout the day, we do some pieces of fruit, cheese, and cucumber. We buy a lot of cucumber right now since it's something he'll almost always eat if it's offered. I know my baby is teething right now, so I'm hoping he'll go back to eating well all day once his molars come through.
My daughter does this! She’s 14 months too. I asked her doc about it and he said it’s most likely teething🙃
Yes, same thing with my little girl and it is so frustrating. She started eating pretty well solids and now has stopped. Only thing she’ll eat is purées. She is teething for the moment so I think is connected to this
ya i’m gonna have to agree w the teething claims lol. mine currently has her like 9th tooth coming in and she just wants soft mushy things like apple sauce. everything else she’s spitting out. if you still have purées you can add them to oatmeal and she might like that. mine is still doing well w that but i try and avoid it at bed time bc it makes her go while she’s sleeping and then she ends up rashy in the morning when she sleeps through it 😅
My 15 month old was/is kinda still a GREAT eater, but now throws half her meal on the floor. She’s been getting her molars in so I think that is contributing, but I’ve read that their eating slows down between 1-2 anyway.
Yes my son is doing this too. It’s so frustrating! My only guess is teething 😵💫
