Am I being over dramatic?

My 2 year old has just come home from Easter holiday club at nursery with a cornflake cake topped with mini eggs.. who in their right mind gives 2 year olds mini eggs?! i ate my daughters straight away and she kicked off full meltdown mode which is fine cause id much rather that than her eating them but I’m mortified at the thought of one of the other parents’ kids choking on them after being given them in a PROFESSIONAL SETTING. I pay these people nearly £500 a month for my child to go 1 day a week, am I being dramatic by being absolutely livid by this?

No I don't think your being dramatic at all! That's horrendous and I think you should speak to them about it. You wouldn't give a whole grape so why something that's the same size and harder!

@Jackie I think I’m gonna send an email to the manager so I’ve got it in writing that something like this isn’t gonna happen again, just seems to be one thing after another with them but education and progress wise they’re the best around my area so I’m in 2 minds whether to just keep complaining and hope for the best or take her out and put her somewhere else but in saying that I don’t know if we’d have the same problems elsewhere 🤦🏻‍♀️

If you were paying 50p they should be following strict protocols. Write the letter.

Definitely a good idea to have it in writing so if it happens again you have it there that you have raised it previously. They should be following the standard food guidelines with it being a professional nursery. So it's surprising that they have done this. Atleast they didn't allow her to eat it in nursery 😬

I agree I would never give something that shape and size

No you are right. I would definitely complain about it. It shouldn’t happen again. If everyone is silent, nothing is going to change.

@Jackie that I know of 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Kate I know me neither, I’ve never even given her grapes
