Concerned about your baby’s eating?

This is just a FYI for any concerned mama’s cuz I know I always have been constantly worried.. Is he eating enough? Too much? As long as your baby is continuing to grow and is healthy, don’t stress yourself!!! Many of you may agree / disagree but my Dr. continues to tell me every time to let my kids pace themselves, they are healthy! My 7m old ate 1 scrambled egg, half an avocado, a mini pancake and 5 raspberries for breakfast. My 2 year old had half a mini pancake, 3 raspberries and a couple bites of yogurt. Yes my 7m ate more than my 2yr old?!?!? Every baby is different 😊

My 7m old won’t even lick a spoon or bring anything to her mouth 😭

@Annivie my now 2 year old was the same way. He’s slowly been picking up a little more and more depending on the day 😊 don’t worry mama 💓

My 2 year old eats like a middle aged man 🤣 and my 1 year old is starting to be more adventurous!

@Anna my 2 yr is old is soo picky and goes through stages. Like a few months back he loved pb&j now he won’t touch them, then it was scrambled eggs I was so proud!! now he won’t touch them either.. the only thing that’s constant is rice and ketchup 😂😂 my 7m old on the other hand will eat anything I offer 😅

Same here! My 7M old baby doesn’t want to eat anything… just exclusive breastfeed. 😢 Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated Mamas !!!

100%! Also all of that anxiety (for me at least) was made worse because my baby lost too much weight at the beginning so I'm always paranoid she's not eating enough. When we had the stomach flu and we went to the doctor I almost started crying because she lost weight and told the doctor why and she said a lot of people feel that way 😅

@aisha just keep trying! 3-5 x a day it’s good to try lots of different things but it’s also good to keep trying with the same item to see if they’ll get more comfortable with it. With my now 2 year old when he was little I probably had to give him oats 50x before he liked it but I kept trying every morning and eventually he loved them and ate 3oz every morning for a few months, now he won’t eat them anymore 😂

@aisha one thing he always loved actually was anything frozen!! He loved and still loves any kind of blended fruit as a smoothie or popsicle. I even sneak veg in and he doesn’t notice. Some good ones are carrots, spinach, and cauliflower because they don’t have too strong of a taste.

@Julia that’s definitely difficult. I don’t have experience with that, but I can only imagine how my concern would have been hugely escalated.
