I can totally relate. My twins, the boy just happily sits there with the same time everytime. If he canât see it or find it he screams. He can roll both ways but canât crawl or pull up or babble. Says one word- mam. But the girl she babbles, says a few words, crawls, pulls herself up, cruises along furniture and is trying to let go to stand alone.. I feel the same. I want to mention it to health visitor but know her reply with be similar to yours- all babies develop at different rates or donât compare him to his twin.. I find it hard not to worry as all my other children were further in their milestones at this age too. But on the plus side I also enjoy him not being on the move at times coz he is sooooo cuddly and will happily lie on sofa and cuddle for hours xx
Right heâs not behind at all! They all develop at different stages My first was sat up at 5 months, also had his first tooth and was crawling by 9 monthsâŚâŚmy second, this child nowâŚlazy đ Heâs 9 months tomorrow and canât roll back to belly, he hates being on his stomach. I think he will be a bum shuffler rather than a crawler. He also has no teeth! However, heâs a fantastic eater where as my first was terrible. Honestly please donât worry yourself, your baby is doing more than mine, they are all so different x
No i feel this! My babyâs 9 months and isnât crawling or pulling up to stand etc, and babies younger than her are doing all of that. she also hasnât said her first word or really babbles much, youâre not alone. I try and not stress about it because ino babies are all different but it is hard too when you instantly think itâs something you have / havenât done. Youâre doing great mama xxx
I understand how you feel completely, my sonâs similar too! He rolls over from his belly whenever I put him down for tummy down & doesnât go in to crawling position either! Doesnât pull up to stand either, but Iâm not going to stress about what he isnât doing because thereâs a lot of things he does do that other babies his age donât and Iâm sure thatâs the same with your son too x
