I have no clue about what to do with my mine when she turns 11 in October she is an Halloween baby so any ideas!.?
Went on a mother son trip. Museum, the pool, food, sight seeing. And there was an event w free face painting in the city. Ended w a trip to Cinema cafe w friends (3 of which were his age,)
My daughter wants a party rainbow theme. We'll have bouncy house with cotton candy, pizzas.

Mine will be 11 in October. In the last few years we've done an overnight at Great Wolf Lodge with a friend (twice) and a 4-hour party at our house with three of her friends (her request was to just spend a long time with her friends).
@Gina this! 🤣🤣 I have b/g twins so we have to accommodate them both . Luckily my kids enjoy very similar things

We went to air city and got them a zip line pass for the indoor zip line. It is a trampoline park.

My son doesn’t want a birthday party. He wants to go to a boba place lol. And we might go to the beach and stay at a hotel for the night!

@Alexus my daughter would love that! She talks about boba all the time lmao her twin brother on the other hand would not be pleased 😂
We went away to Florida for a long weekend.
We let our kids pick between a birthday party with friends or a shopping day with mom or dad. She picked laser tag this year with 14 friends, but last year we did lunch and shopping day. It costs about the same amount as an activity with friends and she picks out her own gifts instead of getting gifts her friends might have brought. My son picked a shopping day this year because he wanted a guitar and he chose 1 bigger purchase instead of a handful of smaller gifts. Works well for our family and a day of 1 on 1 time with a parent is always something they seem to like.
I have a similar age bday coming up next month and she barely has any close friends - I'm planning to do a classroom party for her and take her out for an outing.
"YesDay." (With our family) He wanted to go to Main Event and play arcade games, picked out an ice cream cake from Coldstone, and then his grandparents came over and for cake. Then he wanted to have a "Yes Day " on gifts, so we just gave him cash and took him shopping to let him pick his gifts.
