Baby shaking his head side to side
My LO has randomly started to shake his head side to side quite quickly for like 5-10 seconds at a time. I initially noticed it when he was half asleep so thought he was self soothing. Then I started noticing it when he was nearing the end of his wake window so thought it was a sign he was getting tired but now he sometimes does it randomly when he’s fully awake too. Anyone else’s baby do this? Is it something I need to get checked?

My girl does it too. Often when she’s trying to sleep or tired but she also does it awake. I believe it’s completely normal
It’s a self soothing thing!
My baby does it when she’s teething, so atm she’s doing it quite a lot! But it is a soothing technique.

Yeah it’s self soothing. My baby does it when trying to put herself to sleep.
mine when she's excited, or tired or trying to soothing herself in her sleep
My baby does this too. She does it when she’s tired, but also when she’s teething. Think she’s trying to shake the pain away bless her
