Has anyone had any experience of using these websites to find babysitters/ childminders?
I'm wondering whether reliable enough to organise childcare during school holidays.
Any positive experiences and felt safe leaving your child? Any negative experiences?

I found my childminder on childcare.co.uk and my son has been going to her since August last year. Really happy with her xx
I also found my childminder on childcare, we have been using her for 3 years and she's amazing! Great way to find childcare, I'd just say make sure you check out there paperwork in person x
Helpful to know, thank you all. It's such a worry when don't have much family around to help.

I used to be a private tutor and used to advertise on Childcare. It’s a legit website and I used to get a lot of students through it. A friend also used to advertise her babysitting services on there. So just from a provider’s POV, there’s absolutely legitimate childcare staff on there - I haven’t used it for childcare for my own children though, just as not had the need to.
