We had this for about two weeks but she’s fine now. Hang in there, I know it’s hard! Every night I wonder if she’ll wake in the night (she sleeps through) but touch wood she’s gone back to normal! X
@Laura how are you managing bedtime? Laying down with him isn't working now he's over excited and just wants to play it's taking ages and I have a 5 year old so I can't do that when it's just me home on a night when my partner dose nights x
@Harriet how did you manage bedtime? I'm struggling with that now x
Just having to lay on our bed with him (but my other half or myself stay downstairs with the newborn). Then he normally ends up in with us from around midnight aswell 🤦🏼♀️ I won't lie its a juggle
@Laura you have the same routine as us then. It's so hard isn't it. I can only imagine how hard it is with a newborn though. I hope I haven't made a bad habit with this I want to break it and have him sleeping in his bed and settling himself back to sleep like he use to x
I try to remind myself that I don't go to bed alone and can cuddle my other half if I want to. But won't lie it is tough. Hoping he will do longer stretches in his own cot soon 🙏🏼. Hopefully it doesn't last long for you. I think I've got it extra longer than normal as he's a little jealous
@Laura see he doesn't cuddle in he sits or trys and climbs out I wouldn't mind the cuddling in bit. His new bed comes tomorrow so hope it helps x
I had to hold her hand through her cot, some days it worked some days I had to lie with her on our bed until she was in a deep sleep x
We've been in it a while now and yet to come out of it. Its draining for sure, especially with a 3 week old
