Sudden hatred of childcare

Need some advice whether this is normal or if i should be concerned please? My little one has always loved childminders, goes full time and has been there 1 year + He has turned two and started to say “no *childminder name* stay at home or dont like *childminders name*” when getting dressed. Hes a little bit unsettled in the day but cminder said its developmental behaviour and has no concerns. Today he got upset getting dressed, into the car fine with distraction then screamee as soon as he realised where we driving. Clung onto me at the door hysterically crying. Where on earth has this come from, should I be concerned hes not happy there or is it developmental / seperation anxiety etc. Thank you

So something similar happened with my eldest, though she was 3.5, so verbal. She had only been at the childminders for a month, but as soon as she started telling me that someone was hurting her (she couldn't name who) I moved her somewhere else. Did it actually happen? To this day, I don't know. But I knew that my eldest believed it and that's what matters. Follow your instinct mama, 9/10 it's right x

I did this to my mum everyday when I was about 2/3, she ended up moving me nurseries because we moved and I still did it. I actually remember holding on the handles on the bus and screaming once I knew I wasn’t going to my grans 🙈 I just didn’t like nursery nothing else to it and probably had some separation anxiety which I think it normal at this age. Hopefully it passes soon but just so you know it had no lasting effect and we laugh about it now, especially when my son gets a bit clingy and only wants me. Must have been hard on her at the time though so I feel for you x

Has there been a change in routine or at the childminders? Is there new children a different routine somewhere? I would ask to go and watch or stay for a session and see how he interacts with the childminder maybe.

My daughter is like this atm when going to nursery or grandparents! I’m guessing/hoping it’s just a faze xx
