Refusing food

I wanted to reach out because I’m concerned about my 2-year-old’s eating habits. Lately, he refuses to eat almost anything and shows no interest in trying new foods. He doesn’t seem willing to taste anything unfamiliar, and no matter how I try to present the food, he simply refuses. It’s been quite challenging, and I am not sure what might be causing this behavior. I’m worried if it might be related to something else, such as sensory issues or a potential developmental concern. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I want to make sure he’s getting the right nutrition and developing healthy eating. Wathever i cook he is not even trying

My lo is the same. Breakfast has no issues with. Has two eggs with toast. Sometimes Cereal and a banana. Lunch is hit and miss I normally do a sandwich or Crackers with fruit and Yogurt, doesnt have it often now . dinner time is a no go the last few weeks. She pokes her tongue out to taste it then just flatly refuses it. Will have bread or just fruit. Or nothing but her milk for bed. She's still gaining weight and has so much energy. I'm thinking it's just a fase. Maybe speak to health visitor or GP if you're really concerned.

My son is the same , I’m tired honestly

Same here! My boy would live on crisps/ puffs and raspberries if he could! X

Same boat with my 21 month old! i keep offering foods in the hope that he will change his mind soon lol I rang my Health visitor and chatted through it all, she gave me some good advice, worth doing that maybe?
