It’s giving gay…

My fiancé is always cheap so he was using a government phone. ( don’t ask I offered buy a phone for him and to put a phone in my name numerous times). Today he came home with a brand new phone. A outer box case and screen protector BRAND NEW! He said his friend gave it to him because he no longer needs it… We got into a big argument because it just didn’t make sense. Long story short I broke that fx#king phone. Now he’s upset. His reason being, he doesn’t want his friend to criticize him or think he’s irresponsible. Like WHAT? Am I overreacting? It’s giving GAY!

To be honest I think you might be over reacting.

Why were you angry? And why did you break the phone? I think it’s reasonable to be upset if someone breaks your phone, especially if someone gave it to you.

You broke a new phone because you didn’t believe him… that is crazy. Like even if a girl gave it to him I’d just tell him to leave

I would be upset with you. He seems very considerate of you and not wanting you to spend on him lile that. The fact that he was given a FREE phone from his friend sounds awesome and probably why he accepted the phone. If his friend had gotten a new phone and the phone they gabe him was just going to go to waste. So nice of his friend. You sound very immature and need to learn to regulate yourself before breaking others property. If I had a partner do that to me and break my phone I was gifted from a friend, i would end the relationship. That kind of behavior is a Red Flag in my book.

Thanks for the advice ladies!

I would be annoyed he didn’t talk it over with me first honestly! Idk if it’s gay but if he has gay tendencies or other strange things with this guy friend you know better follow your gut. Did you have open access to that phone once he got it? If you did then breaking it was super over the top but if he was hiding it all shady then I get it totally but still breaking stuff is a no go :(
