Working parents free childcare
Hi girls,
I am trying to figure out how This works, I missed a call from hmrc and now struggling to figure out who to speak to.
I have a code for the free hours, as my child is within the criteria and I am back at work, does this mean I can use it? What do I do with the nursery?

Yes you can use it you will have to reconfirm eligibility every three months just give it to the nursery ( we filled out an online form ) Don’t forget the tax free account it’s different from the free hours
If you have a place at nursery, give them the code, and they will put it on the portal for funding. If you don't have a place yet but have your child down on a waiting list, just contact them with your code. There's a form you need to sign just to confirm that you're happy for your childcare setting to claim the funding x

Yes you can start using it. I had to fill in forms for our nursery and put the code on them and they did the rest in terms of sorting it out
