Sorry but when did Ella get so grown up!? And isabel Can’t cope Hayley - feel like I’ve watched them both grow from the sidelines 🥹 So so happy for her! Clearly that headteacher has had a lasting impact x
Maxi was obviously destined to go to the same school as big brother and sister… said to him today we’ll have to go and get you uniform like Ryder and you’ll be a big boy! Maxi: sam and Sue are coming too? (His KP and backup at preschool) Me: no they have to stay at preschool and look after the little children Maxi: ok well I stay and help them then I see Carole (childminder) Me: 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ It’s been a lot easier for us to relate to school as he sees the teachers everyday (the joy of your mum being a childminder and collecting from multiple classes) I’m now on the campaign to get him my preferred reception teacher (the same one Ariel and Ryder had) we’re 3 tier entry!
@Laura Oliver thinks all his nursery teachers are going with him and me too 🤦♀️ so far a boy out of his nursery class is going to same school xx
@Ruth 22/25 from preschool are all going to the same school so he’s got that! But Sam is his best friend and she’s the reason he’s doing so well! I’m hoping that he gets the teachers we’re hoping for cos they’ve also known him since he was a bump and that’s really makes a difference for him and Sam’s going to make it clear that me as his mum knows him the best and whichever teacher he gets will have to listen to me and make sure ‘her Maxi’ is looked after cos I’m the one that’s put up all the fight for him! He’s also got the transitions team looking out for him until year 1 and the reception team, senco, and transition team will stay in constant contact with Sam until year 1 so they can pick her brains about the best course of action/what works best for maxi! So although his EHCP was denied I’m feeling confident he will be well looked after!
