Bilingual household

my baby girl is being taught both Spanish and English but mostly Spanish since both of my parents and my MIL only speak Spanish. When I talk to her I try to keep it mainly Spanish but she does understand a little English. I feel that she’s a little behind on the amount of words she can say. Do you think because we are speaking to her in 2 languages, she’s getting confused and hard for her to understand what is what? Should I be worried? Some of the words she’s says: mama, papa, mami, tío, tía, yo ,tu, no, si, you, agua, comer, mas, bee, Bluey 😂, our dogs names, caca (poop), peepee, I think like 2-3 more that I can’t think of rn.

It’s very common for kids in bilingual households to take longer to say words :)

I think it’s by the age 3 or 4 she will be able to determine who speaks English and Spanish and be able to communicate in both languages. Don’t stop teaching her 2 languages!! She’s right on track!
