Milk ladder recipes

I've just started the milk ladder (again) but my daughter isn't a big fan of malted milks so it's hard to even get her to eat 1. I made the biscuits recipe provided by the dietician and she won't touch them either. Has anyone got any other recipes/ know what other biscuits I could use?

So I’m currently doing a recipe with Banana, oats, dairy free chocolate chips and 1ml of milk as suggested by the ladder - it’s supposed to work better ( and I have recipe) with peanut butter but we keep it nut free for nursery reasons xx

@Mia Chanel would you be able to send me the recipe please? These sound nicer than the ones I have made 😂

There’s someone on TikTok who gives some great ideas. If toddler doesn’t like the biscuit, crush into breadcrumbs and sprinkle over something else, add a familiar nut butter (or alternative) over the biscuit to mask the taste. There’s also shop bought alternatives (Heinz / organix biscotti) Also Sainsbury’s sells ‘soft biscotti’ which is suitable for step 1
