Hydromol
Hi,
Might sound silly but our doctor told us to only bathe our baby every 2/3 days due to his eczema. We put hydromol on his back last night and he’s not due to have a bath today. Can I re apply? Or do I need to wash his back first?

We were told to only give 2 baths a week aswell and apply Hydromol 5 times a day so I just reapply without washing inbetween xx

Yes reapply as much as possible to stop skin from drying out. But the skin should be clean before moisturising otherwise things will just get trapped, so I bath my almost 6 month old daily to just get rid of saliva and dust etc. It can also be used as soap substitute. We were told we can bathe daily if we want to and baby enjoys it, as long as it's in lukewarm water, 5-10 min and moisturise straight after after dabbing skin dry
