holding in pee
any advice for my son who we are currently potty training but he will hold his wee in and won’t do it on the potty. yesterday he went 7-8 hours with no wee and we had to put a pull up on as he was getting so uncomfortable but still wouldn’t do a wee on the potty. He has done a few wees in the first couple of days but now he just doesn’t want to!

I was here too. I ended up asking a specialist her recommendation and she said my daughter just wasn't ready and to start again in a few months
It’s just a phase I promise you! Me daughter had an amazing first day then for two days after held her wee. Then she just stopped the next day and carried on as she was before 😅 The health visitor told me when I asked her for advice when we were in this boat that putting a pull up on will confuse them so not to do that.
I agree with others. Tough it out, maybe even give extra fluids and expect a few accidents.
