Does anyone know anything abt grandparents rights in NY?

Yes grandparents has the same rights as the father/parents and are able to petition for custody and visitation and the courts will 100% grant them visitation they are able to get a free attorney as well to represent them with the case. Only way they're not getting visitation if you file charges of harassment or abuse. The courts will send out a court appointed worker to check the condition of the grandparent house to ensure safety and adequate sleeping space food and clothing for said child/children

I advise you if you don't want to deal with the grandparents neither the father you get an order of protection that would give them ground rules to stay away of make it safe for you and your child and they may only get supervised visits be sure to include supervised visits only
