I use La Roche-Posay products. They are a little on the pricier side but not crazy (you can buy them in boots). If you go onto the La Roche-Posay website they offer a free 15 minute consultation over webcam with a skin expert. I did it recently and the lady was super lovely and helped me put together a skincare routine as I had no idea where to start. I felt totally overwhelmed as there’s a million products and conflicting advice online. The lady I spoke to was called May and she was great and so helpful. What she recommended has been really good, I’d deffo recommend it! ❤️
Since your skin is dry maybe also adding lots of hydration would help with the dryness. I have dry skin as well and i use a cream based cleanser and a hydrating toner after cleansing then a hydrating moisturiser as well and it helps to keep my skin smooth. Look for stuff with hyaluronic (serums) to help boost your hydration levels too. đź’š
Exfoliating pads is actually great and more gentle on the skin barrier than surface Scrubs. You could also try an Aha or bha product which renews and resurfaces the skin. Dermatology backed brands are best, although of course more expensive. Brands like cerave have products with these ingredients. Just make sure it is safe to use if you are still breastfeeding or pregnant. Serums are great too! I love the honest brand. They are ewg certified brand so all their stuff is safe to use!
