Passport waiting time

Passport came back within a week 😅☺️ and I literally only did a few weeks ago!

I think ours was closer to two weeks

Two weeks. Taking mine away at 4 months

My lgs passport came back within a few days. And I'm on the boat have no idea what to take for her

@Rebecca Louise aw hopefully it’ll come quick then🤞honestly I’ve been watching so many TikTok’s on what people pack🤣it’s so helpful but I’m still stuck!

No idea on the passport but one of the best tips someone gave me was a change of clothes for both you and baby as blowouts on planes are quite common and the last thing you want is to have a clean baby but your sitting in grim clothes!

Ours took 6 weeks to arrive!

@Millie i know! When in1st got mine it took like 3 wks. This time mine came in 4 wks but my wife and child came at exactly 6wks.

We went away when he was 5 months, I just took everything he owned 😂 Agree on the change for you as well as the baby, thankfully we didn't need it for us!

We got our son’s passport in 5 days

@C I could’ve got a fast track one that takes a week but the appointment would be nearly 2 hours from me and I just don’t have time between now and when we go 😩

@Millie we got ours 3 weeks ago if that helps so pretty recently plus dad isn’t British and they are dual nationals with extra docs needed. HMPO is going quick right now for the summer rush ☺️

I did my daughters passport online on the 5th. Finally got round to spending the documents special D on the 10th and yesturday it said the passports being printed.

Depending on which service you selected ? We did fast track and got it within a week

@Ash I didn’t choose fast track as I just don’t have time to travel nearly 2 hours between now and then so fingers crossed it comes🤞

We just got our baby’s passport last month, from applying & sending it off it was a week! X

Ours took just over a week in Feb. Remember it will take longer with the bank holiday this weekend. They also tend to be busier during school holidays because of people needing emergency appointments for emergency passports

In the process of doing mine - did it at the post office on 4 April and sent off birth cert the same day. Apparently they only received it 10 days later as got an email on Monday 👀 still waiting but hopefully it’ll be quick now!

My docs where received by 16th Approved 17th, printed 20th and I received it on the 21th! so within 6 working days

Five days for us and yes we travelled with LG first time when she was three months

I would ring them and tell them. That can make the process go faster.

Well, for us it took 3 weeks!

We sent ours off last Monday 7th, and its due to arrive tomorrow 19th.

We applied for ours and got it within a week. That was about 5 weeks ago. Hopefully it will arrive in time for your holiday. I’m sure it will ☀️ 🏖️

I applied via the normal online service on 26th March, sent birth certificate on 28th March and they delivered the passport 8th April
