This is for the autism mommas

When you found out that your kid was autistic what was your reaction? Ima be honest I cried I was told today that my 3 year old son is mild autistic idc that he has it’s more of my worry about society is gonna treat him for being different…. Because of my own personal experience with being dyslexic and needing extra help I was bullied and was looked at like if I was disabled…… My son is very smart and sweet but he does lack communication skills and are going to do further testing I still don’t know everything about autism yet I’ve done some research I did my crying but now I’m just thinking moving forward of his needs of the therapy that can help him once he’s older …. I love him so much I know every kid is gonna have challenges but I’m worried about ppl picking on him and he won’t understand it …. Any tips on what I should do to help him thrive other then therapy when it comes to communication ?
