Moses Basket
Looking at buying our Moses basket the next few weeks but I’m not sure if I need one with a hood or not? What’s everyone’s thoughts? Are the hoods useless or not? Seen so many on offer with no hood and just the basket but with baby being born in July I’m wondering if I’ll need it for shade etc

Just make sure you get a stand tall enough if it’s for next to your bed. With my first it was short and it was a faff, where as this time I’ve ordered a taller one. I did put the hood up most of the time, to prevent her from looking at me when I was Tranna sleep 🤣🤣🤣 also recommend one you can rock to rock them to sleep
Personally I liked mine with the hood for my last July baby! I could take her in the garden in it and have that extra shade. I was also told to put her by the window for sunlight (as very tiny amount of jaundice) and the hood was handy if the sun was shining too much☺️x
I had both and my little boy preferred the one with the hood. The hoods are normally removable so maybe look for one like that????
We had one with a hood for our first baby who was also born in July and we never once needed the hood. It was detachable so we didn’t ever even put it on
