When are you letting people hold baby?

Ugh I want to go back to Church but It’s always hard to set boundaries with people you’re close with and yea I know it’s for my babies wellbeing but it doesn’t make it less uncomfortable. I also have my older daughters bday party coming up which will be somewhat large guest list and baby will about 8 weeks. This wasn’t a big deal in 2022 when my first daughter was born I was letting people hold her second week but this year this season This state. There are soooo many viruses going around…STILL.

I’m taking my baby to church on Easter for the first time. He will be 5 weeks and I won’t be letting anyone touch or hold him. Until he’s 2 months and gets his shots. I understand how you feel though it is hard to set boundaries with those that we are close to. Like idk how imma tell my pastora sorry don’t touch him or sorry you can hold him so imma just see what happens that day but definitely everyone else is a no for me.

Baby wear! Then people are less likely to ask :)

With the outbreak that is happening Probably never He can't get the measle Vaccine And a lot of people don't have Update on their vaccines Tdap vaccine And the flu is still going around and the Rs v is still going around I will keep my infants Away from people And focus on my 3-year-old Easter hunting Daddy will be taking care of the baby he can say no a lot better than I can And he will be baby wear A lot of times I've noticed people don't just jump up towards a male than they do a female

My little one has been kept on a very tight visitation list. I made it clear to everyone during my pregnancy that no one is allowed to ask me to come visit or to hold him. I will not lie and say that it was easy or that people listened well, in fact it caused even some family members to stop talking to me in the past few weeks but his health and safety come before everyone else's feelings. Just be honest "for their health and safety I will not be allowing people to hold or touch them" 🤷🏽‍♀️ people will take it however they want but don't compromise to please others with your child's health and safety at risk. In some cases it's just better to be the bad guy
