Some tips for getting more steps!

If you are like me and have a sedentary job, getting more than maybe 5000 steps can be really hard. Recently I started adding in a few ways that could maybe help others: -Walk around the kitchen or march on the spot while waiting on your coffee to be ready or the kettle boiling, or the microwave to finish -Walk around the room or march on the spot while you are on the phone or on hold -Step and tap from side to side while watching tv or brushing your teeth -March around the living room with the kids singing a song like the Grand Old Duke of York to get everyone up and moving These probably sound obvious to some but as someone who didnt move much (so proud my average steps is up from 2-3k to 8k in 6 weeks and lost 8lbs so far of my 40lb goal) these have been helpful to get in even an extra 2k steps which helps me a lot x

Personally, I did jumping jacks. It burns more than walking in less time, especially if you do them quickly /fast pased. If you can, do a set every hour while you're at work. What do you think?

Lol, understandable. I have the opposite problem of trying to keep my butt cheeks from clapping, so it was a home workout for me 🤣
