Measels

Baby is been real sick. Due to many reasons including insurance issues (please no judgement). He has not had his measles vaccine. He started with a fever, then evolved into really red eyes, and a light body rash. I took him yesterday to the pediatrician they did a measles test but I won’t get the results for a couple of more days Does anyone else has gotten measles? Any experiences to share? He was also tested for rsv, covid, and flu all came out negative

Also they are just barely eligible to be vaccinated so I hate that you need to even specify that. It sounds like they're tolerating just fine even if it is

No judgment here! I’ve been fighting my insurance apparently I make too much for Financial Aid but Too little to pay for a regular bill. My son hasn’t been to the doctor since he was 13 months. Ofc I let his pediatrician know, and she’s waiting until he has his medical card to give him ALL THE ATTENTION. My son is so late on many vaccines 😭

The measles vaccine will not prevent your child from getting measles anyways. Probably a bug/virus
